Boiler is a significant equipment of the most industrial facilities and produce plants. Boiler is a closed pressure vessel used to produce high pressure or low pressure steam or to produce hot water for industrial or domestic use.
1. Low pressure boiler
Low pressure boilers having pressure below 300 psi (Bulk Boiling).
2. Medium pressure Boilers
Medium pressure Boilers having pressure range between 300 psi to 800 psi (mixed Nucleate or bulk Boiling).
3. High pressure boiler
The pressure of the high pressure boiler is generally less than 13.7 MPa (≤ 137 bar, ≤ 137 atm,≤ 2055 Psi), Boilers having Pressure above 800 psi (film Boiling) are called High pressure Boilers.

The working pressure of the boiler is one of the main parameters of the boiler. The customer needs to know the working pressure of the boiler when purchasing the boiler. Working pressure refers to the working fluid pressure at the outlet of the boiler, usually called pressure. The unit is "MPa". Different places have different units when calculating pressure, generally 1Mpa=10bar≈10kgf/cm2≈150Psi=10atm.
According to the pressure of the boiler outlet working fluid, the boiler can be divided into:
Low pressure boiler: general pressure less than 1.25MPa
Medium pressure boiler: 3.8MPa ≤ P <5.3MPa
Secondary high pressure boiler: 5.3MPa ≤ P <9.8MPa
High pressure boiler: 9.8MPa ≤ P <13.7MPa
Ultra-high pressure boiler: 13.7MPa ≤ P <16.7MPa
Subcritical boiler: 16.7MPa ≤ P <22.1MPa
Supercritical boiler: P≥22.1MPa
